What are the symptoms of rubella?

Healing with hope, guiding with care.
Rubella is an infectious disease caused by rubella virus, which is more common in children, adults or the elderly. Rubella is more common in winter and spring. In recent years, there are more cases of rubella in spring and summer. It is popular in kindergartens, schools, military and other gathered groups. It is characterized by low or moderate fever, headache, loss of appetite, fatigue, cough, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat and other upper respiratory symptoms. Some patients may show rose or hemorrhagic macules on the pharynx or soft palate, and then show typical rash in 1-2 days. The rash is seen on the face and neck and rapidly spreads to the trunk and limbs, but there is no rash on the palms and soles. The rash is fine punctate pale red macules, maculopapules or papules. The rash on the trunk generally lasts for about 3 days, so rubella is also called 3-day measles.
