How to find an appendix tumor

Your health, my commitment.
Appendix tumor is usually found through laboratory examination, imaging examination and pathological examination.
1. Laboratory examination
includes serum carcinoembryonic antigen examination and blood routine examination. It can be judged whether there is an increase in inflammatory indicators through blood routine examination, so as to rule out appendicitis. Serum carcinoembryonic antigen belongs to tumor markers. It can be preliminarily judged whether there is cancer through serum carcinoembryonic antigen examination.
2. Imaging examination
includes X-ray plain film, barium enema examination, B ultrasound examination and CT examination. Through the above examinations, it can be confirmed whether there is tumor in appendix and observe the shape of tumor.
3. Pathological examination is
performed after biopsy to determine the benign and malignant tumor.
