Causes of Female Urinary Retention

Female urinary retention causes include bladder nerve dysfunction, urinary calculi, cystocele, etc.

1. Bladder nerve dysfunction

Trauma or pelvic surgery, lumbar anesthesia, bladder nerve dysfunction may occur, leading to dysuria and even urinary retention.

2. Urinary calculi

Bladder, ureter and other places when the formation of stones, may block the bladder outlet or embedded in the urethra, resulting in urinary retention.

3. Cystocele

Bladder and vagina between the muscle, support tissue strength weakened, bladder bulging and compression urethra, causing urinary retention.
