Where does moxibustion cure cough

Moxibustion can be used to treat cough.

1. Dazhui is

located in the depression under the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra. Proper moxibustion of this point can achieve the effect of clearing away heat and relieving malaria and pain.

2. Feishu

is located in the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra. It has the effect of regulating lung qi, tonifying deficiency and clearing away heat. Moxibustion stimulation can treat cough caused by lung diseases.

3. Tanzhong is

located at the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples. It has the effects of regulating qi and relieving pain, promoting qi depression, reducing reverse flow and stopping vomiting. Proper moxibustion of this part can relieve cough caused by poor chest and lung qi.
