Difference between gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer

The difference between gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer is mainly due to different pain sites, different pain characteristics, different gastroscopy results.

1, different pain sites: gastric ulcer caused by pain mainly occurs in the upper abdomen; duodenal ulcer caused by pain mainly occurs in the right upper abdomen.

2, pain characteristics are different: gastric ulcer caused by pain mainly occurs in half an hour to an hour after meals, and then gradually reduced until disappeared; duodenal ulcer caused by pain is usually fasting or night pain.

3, gastroscopy results are different: gastric ulcer patients can be observed when gastroscopy mainly occurs in the stomach; duodenal ulcer mainly occurs in the duodenal bulb.
