Can polio be cured?

Poliomyelitis, also known as poliomyelitis, is an acute infectious disease caused by poliovirus infection. At present, this kind of disease has been stipulated as a Class B infectious disease in China. Poliovirus can cause corresponding clinical manifestations. In the acute stage, there can be digestive tract symptoms, delayed paralysis of limbs, accompanied by corresponding changes in headache and vomiting of the central nervous system. Clinical manifestations are relatively complex, and individual differences are also relatively large. With the wide application and popularization of polio vaccine in China, this kind of disease has basically disappeared. Clinically, some children also suffer from polio-like symptoms, which are called polio-like syndrome at this stage, most of which are caused by other pathogens.
