What about concomitant exotropia?

The treatment of concomitant exotropia includes conservative treatment, surgical treatment, and drug treatment.

1. Conservative treatment:

When there is refractive error in concomitant exotropia, negative lenses can be used to check and prism can be worn for treatment.

2. Surgical treatment:

When conservative treatment has no effect, it can be considered to be treated by posterior medial rectus muscle tenotomy.

3. Drug treatment: There is

generally no specific drug for concomitant exotropia, but in order to prevent infection after surgery, eye drops are needed to prevent it, such as chloramphenicol eye drops, levofloxacin eye drops, etc.
