Difference between pseudomyopia and true myopia

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
The differences between pseudomyopia and true myopia include axial length, whether vision can be restored, treatment methods, etc.
1. Axial length
Pseudomyopia generally does not change the axial length, but the axial length of patients with true myopia will become longer.
2. Whether vision can be restored
Pseudomyopia may return to normal on its own, but the vision of patients with true myopia generally cannot return to normal on its own.
3. Treatment methods
Pseudomyopia can be treated with tropicamide eye drops and atropine eye drops to relax the ciliary muscle. True myopia can generally be treated with glasses, and corneal refractive surgery and intraocular lens implantation can be performed if conditions permit.
